kalamkari applique work on plain saree

    hi
    i bought kalamkari printed cloth and made applque with this on a plain saree...this saree is worn with blouse of the same printed material...please give me your valuable feedback

    Very nice! I have seen the Kalamkari Patches in Pothys and Nalli shops. Even I want to try this out.

    i bought 2 metres clothe with kalamkari de sign...then from a book i traced out the design shown here onto a thick white paper....then i cut that white paper in this shape....then using that i cut the design on the kalamkari printed clothe...the design i attached to the saree with simple running stitch...

    the saree is plain ...polycotta material..it is 450 rupees...kalamkari printed cotton clothe i got separately...it is 80 rupees per metre
