Starting Rujuta Diwekar's Meal Plan from today onwards.

    Trying to keep up with no coffee as first meal rule.So far success(except on saturday when i was visiting my inlaws).

    Ok.. Let me also join this Meal plan.

    1) Generally i will start my day with milk... from now on will start with fruit.........

    2) Have some food in 2-3 hrs...
    1 Fruit at 8 am.
    B/f - 3 dosas (2 at 9:30am and 1 at 11:30 am)
    Lunch: 3 rotis (2 rotis at 1pm and 1 roti at 3 pm)

    3) I normally eat my dinner early.. so let me follow the first 2 points for 2 weeks...

    Any corrections on this?

    Hi Ladies,
    I am new to this Forum and my main reason to join was to follow the Ruchita Diwekar's diet with you all and to stay motivated while doing so. I am 27 yrs old and my weight is 58 kg , height 5.5. My prime reason to follow her diet is to eat healthy food ( as i eat a lot of unhealthy food now and i skip my meals some time) because of that i feel tired most of time and to stay fit.
    I have been living in Australia now for 5 years now... I have been very busy with my studies for first two years and now with my full time job ,so doesn't get much time to exercise or cook.
    I would need all of your support to stay focused and motivated. I hope we all achieve our goels..!! :clap

    I would suggest not. Drinking green tea has immense benefits - believe me I have studied it thoroughly. But green tea has tannins that may upset an empty stomach causing it to produce acids. It would be best to have it with a meal - any meal - oats, toast or anything.

    Hello Ladies,

    I just got her book and read through my weekend. Have just started today with her priniciples. Going well so far. I used to drink coffee once I reach office, now I have a small breakfast n sip small cup green tea. I loved her book adn highlighted the important notes. Its a book that you would refer to when in doubt. Awesome Book.
    I would love to be a part of this group sharing experience and challenges faced.

    7am - Banana
    8.30am - cereal n milk small bowl n sip green tea small (half of past consumption)
    11.30am - Protein shake
    2.00pm - brown rice with veges small portion
    4.00pm - nuts
    7.00pm - sandwhiches tuna
    water throughtout the day about 2 litres(added lemon to water)
    Am upon rising I do SuryaNamaskar (5) n asanas
    evening I go running 30 mins Mon Thur Sat

    I read this book last week and want to try the 4 rules mentioned in the book.
    Posting my diet for yesterday

    Diet
    ====
    Meal 1- 1 spoon methi , ½ litre water , 1 banana
    Meal 2 – 2 dosa and sambar
    Meal 3- oil free groundnut masala
    Meal 4- Lunch outside
    Meal 5- 2 guava
    Meal 6 – cofee
    Meal7 – 2 wheat dosa and groundnut chutney

    I have myself subscribed to this thread too! But currently in preggy phase.. so cant afford to do anything as of now.. But would love to see you guys do it! :) and may be even i will get motivated :)

    Have been keeping up with no coffee/tea as first meal. Hearing lots of positive fbs on green tea. I guess I shall replace my evening tea with green tea.

    Meal 2- 1appam , ½ glass oats with milk
    Meal 3- 1 chapathi , green peas masala , drumstick leaves
    Meal 4- 1 big bowl cucumber salad
    Meal 5 – 1 chapathi , egg white, beans –carrot
    Meal 6 – 1 green tea , 1 apple
    Meal 7 – 5 prunes , 5 fig
    Meal 8 - 3 chapathi

    Water- 2 litre
