How are people able to live without being friendly ?

yes. i agree. i think giving some classes may help.

 

thanks for your thoughts. in india, we don't have kitty parties like in US. i am not in the same apartment for 15 years. i have lived in multiple places, but people have been the same.

 

i understand that my bringing up with lot of people around me has caused enough trouble as i grew up and went for work. i had trouble enduring loneliness which i was not used to. and also not being brought up in a metro makes it more difficult when you migrate to a metro.

 

i generally smile at everybody i know when i see them. they don't ignore me. they are just like that to everybody else. they talk only when they need to ask anything. it's me who is feeling this way as i am feeling lonely.

 

i am a homemaker. yes, my bringing up has made it difficult for me. i have worked in 2 companies, shifted 4 houses. so no friend has remained when i leave the place. for me happiness seem to come only when i have a little ( a wee little) human contact everyday. that probably is a weakness i have.
