'Mom-to-be' in November 2012

Hi Mercy, I was given General Anesthesia during the op. and I am not facing any side effects till now. Infact the day I had my op. I was feeling so fresh and alert till night, Dr finally had to give me something so that I could sleep off !

I had asked my Dr regarding the numb feeling in the stomach/navel area, this is due to fine nerves being cut during the op. and it will take around 6 mths for the feeling to return. I am also having trouble to get up from lying position and esp if I lie on my left side. I also feel some cramping from time to time, do you feel the same? Are you having heavy periods? I had expected to - but its not heavy.

Hope the stiches are not painful while BF baby. Take care of yourself.

Sowjanya, how did your dr. appointment go?
I had mine today and he said all is fine and I saw the baby too.. )

New moms - sudha, devanshi mercy, PG how are you all doing? how is the experience of becoming a mom? must be awesome to see the little one next to you right?
are you all breastfeeding and is the baby responding well?

 

SM, you and I had due dates so close together - I always thought our LO's might have actually been born on the same day now reading your post, have become very nostalgic about my own pregnant days and baby kick counts and u/s...I wish you lots of luck for your delivery ) Take care!

Hi Every one...I hav blessed wid a baby boy on 12th nov afternoon @ 12.44pm.. its a normal delivery..will update de story was in hosp today eve i got discharged..my baby is not ready to suck de cholstrom and not all ready to touch my breast feel lik crying he is just vomiting if he is latching de cholstrom..any sugesstions frens

Congrats dear Sowjanya, what a wonderful Diwali present for you !!! I hope you are doing well and please dont worry about baby latching immediately, just keep trying and very soon as your milk comes in your latching issues will be resolved. New borns are very sleepy initially and take time to latch on. So dont cry or worry, just keep trying and be in a happy mood. Tell us more about your LO and your birth story when you get time.
