hi, can we celebrate any one of the 4 saturdays in puratasi month?iam planning to do it next /last saturday.apart from maavilakku anything we should do as compusary.this is the first time iam going to do this pooja ,usually my mom used to do it,she s no more now,please help me to do i.
Dear Sister, Any one of the 4 (or 5 week sometimes) we can perform Puratasi Sani Pooja, We also make Sakkara (sweet) pongal and the regular pooja like other festivals.. May be someone else can elaborate...
yes we can do puratasi thaligai on last saturday also. Maa vilakku, sakkarai pongal, Murungai keerai porial and uluntha vadai are the items which should be cooked. Other things for pooja is up to us dear.
ellu sadam being a Saturday for Sani Bhagavan, Yes Pulliyodarai and Vadai can also be done. Best wishes, happy Pooja
Guess its purely based on the tradition wats followed ones home. we used to do vadamala for anjaneyar and perumal for thaligai.
