    Hi Ladies,

    How are you all doing?

    Few tips from my side:

    1. You should sweat a lot when you workout to see a better result
    2. Try to take warm bath after each workouts
    3. when you sweat, your face gets brighter & cleaner also(in my experience)
    4. Initial days, I tried to check my wt now & then to see which food makes me gain wt, and which item weighs me less.
So, now I know what to eat & what not to. And now, I don't need to weigh myself often. But, I try to check once in a day, I prefer morning on empty stomach.
    5. when you start reducing, you'll see differences in face. It means, face fat is reducing which is a good sign.
    6. Always, try to eat low caloric food
    7. Never get tempted by seeing others. Sometimes, when we see others having bigger meals, we get tempted. Try to avoid to go such parties
    8. Try to limit outside food. I always take food from home to office, even weekends, when we visit any places, we pack our lunches.
    9. I limit outside parties. Once or twice per month is ok but not weekly basis.
    10. Drink more water but don't exceed limits. I have seen elders telling drinking more water also can cause some issues. Try to limit to 2-3litres per day.
    11. Never skip break fast. Morning have something like oats/indian break fast then have fruits. On empty stomach, please avoid fruits/fruits juices. It is not good for stomach.
This was told by our family doctor.

    My today's updates:
Got up little late, had a cup of milk with 1/2 spoon cofee
    11.30-1.30pm gym
    I did:

walking in normal mode - 15mins

    Hi Friends,
How are you all doing? By the looks it looks mighty fine :)
The thread is going great. Thank you ladies for all your inspiration and dedication.

Anitha, thank you so much for sharing the infomative links and tips. They are great.

Ladies, can I request you one thing? Since this thread is for 21 days challenge - to see if we could maintain at least one challenge continuously for 21 days. It would be great if we could post day wise updates. Try it, I know it would be fun. A little competition, a little motivation, a little support and we all would be rocking. Its just my thinking, its entirely upto you to post your updates however you wish.

    My Update:
    Day 9 - July 4
Morning - 10 mins breathing exercise
    Evening - 15 mins treadmill

Diet - everything went fine till evening. But in the evening, a neighbour gave some sweets and I gave into craving and had 1 laddoo :hide:, but you know what, I am not beating myself over it :)

At night had some guests, so got no time to make a salad for dinner. Had 2 puris, matar paneer curry sevai and salad for dinner. The same that I had made for guests. Since I was soooooooooo tired after cooking in this terrible heat of delhi.

Anyways I am happy that I maintained my one challene of exercise :)

    More updates to follow soon

    Cheers

    Hi friends,

great to see food updates from most of you. I just have a one lil advise ..
add lot of variety to the three main meals ..BUT at the same time limit the quantity to what our stomach can hold.. I have read somewhere our stomach is of size equal to quantity that can be hold in the two palms kept together. if eaten more than that is definetly going to be stored as fat whether it is healthy or not.

when measured, I found out that it is just the size of quarter plate/bowl that I have in my house (which I usually use for snacks) . What i have started doing is - add lil bit of daal, sabji and roti/rice in equal quantity to to that bowl and eat that as my meal. that seriously seems enough and I get hungery again in 2 to 2.30 hrs and eat my snack

so, lets maximize benefits from this challenge and if you find my advise ok, please follow that and let me know how do you feel after that.

love you all ! stay motivated !!

    take care!
