Planning to buy a house at Choolaimedu - Bhajanai Koil Street. The construction is by some "Maarvaadi". Before proceeding, want to know your views on that area regarding - School, water, location (decent?) any temple?, public transport (bus or train) etc.

    Please pour your views ASAP.

from what i have seen this area the road is narrow.. .. if the construction is by some maarvadi, see to it whether there are deviation...from the cmda approval..i will do it with caution and not in a hurry..

it is close to the nungambakka railway station..

you also have morningstar matriculation and kendriya vidyalaya close by...

School - besides those mentioned by Shanvy, you also have DAV Matric and Vincent Matric
water - no issue, you will get metro and bore
location (decent?) - more of lower-middle class to middle class
any temple? - there is a vishnu temple, besides numerous smaller temples as can be found anywhere in TN
public transport (bus or train) - no buses ply inside choolaimedu. you will have to come to Nelson Manickam Road from where you can get buses and share autos to all major areas. nungambakkam station would be around 1.5 km from bajanai koil st

    hi,
    Adv:
School - Also LM dhadha school is there.. it is a cbse school.
No issues about water. both bore and metro.
no salt water and no water stagnation in most of the streets(Big plus)
    decent location
Nugambakkam station is 1.5 km, kodambakkam station is 2 km....
For Buses, either NM Road or Kodambakkam high road(liberty bus stop).... again 1.5 and 2 km resp.

    Disad:
As said by shanvy, roads are narrow.more traffic and congestion(esp during peak hours).
Also it is becoming more crowded and air pollution is quite high.
