Recently they have shown news on IBN 7 regarding the exorbitant prices on food items and beverages in Multiplexes. This is so true. The normal drinking water is charged 4 times in multiplexes like Inox, PVR etc. They dont allow you to take your own drinking water. So, you have to pay that extra money in order to drink even water. The higher ticket rates are understandable as the Multiplex environment and service is better. But why extra charges on Food items and not allow our own water or anything so that we are compelled to purchase at that extra rate???
700 ml water at Rs.25/- !!! Thats what they are charging to people who come to see movies in multiplexes. Showing Gandhism inside theatre with Lage Raho Munnabhai and selling water at high rates outside in the same complex. I wish they took some Gandhian values from movies in their own theatre (Lage Raho Munnabhai) and dont charge extra rates or allow own drinking water and food inside.
