My children love Brinjal like anything. They need it everyday

It’s sticking while I peel it.

But how do I remove its stain?

    Any ideas?

    Hi reeba,

Brinjal is yummy. Even I do love it.

I used to soak the peeled brinjal in buttermilk for about half an hour.

Doing this way, the stain is completely removed.

While reading the above posts, a question popped up in my head.

i used to make Brinjal Bajis. But it is not at all crispy.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make it crispy, please share it with me

well Sonali, not only Brinjal Bajis, any Bajis can be made crispy by making this way.

    Try out .....

Add a bit soda powder in flour you use to make Bajis and that's it......

    Try this way also……

Before starting to cut Brinjal, apply salt thoroughly on your both hands.

This will prevent getting Brinjal’s stain on your fingers.

    Hey Reeba, try this..........

To remove brinjal’s stain, I used to apply some coconut oil on my fingers.
Within five minutes, the stains will go off…

    To avoid brinjal's turning black...

Another tip about brinjal, while we cut them they tend to turn black. This will cause the brinjal dish to taste a little bit bitter :-( .

Inorder to avoid brinjal's turning black, put the cut peices in water mixed with a spoon of milk.

    To avoid discolouring of brinjals...

Malar, I do this way to avoid discolouring, it works.

Rub the brinjals with a little salted oil after slicing and this avoids discolouration.
