Dear Radha, That you got manoharam in the "first stroke", makes me give a pat on your back!! :thumbsup I have felt intimidated even to try it, for many years & started making it only recently!! Great Fbs!! Now we get Hatsun paneer here - super, super soft! (ofcourse expensive :-() But after reading your FB, I feel tempted to try paneer tikka with that paneer & treat myself :biggrin2:
Radhi, Since I have an identical plate, it looks just like my photo to me!! saras had made crisscross designs & you have decorated with a "baby piece" of almond!! All of you send such lovely photos that I feel so proud!!:thumbsup To be honest, I sometimes feel guilty about tempting you to buy gadgets like CT etc, not available here :-( BUT not anymore. You are making perfect use of it. In many houses, pori urundai will either be falling apart ot "GiN GiN'!! Nice FBs, thanks!
Aish, all ofyou are attempting naivedyams & sending FBs!! Good signals about the younger generation! :thumbsup I do not think, a knife holder without knifes will be available. I have a spoon stand in stainless steel (with perforations) in which I dry & stack knives- pointed edges facing down. This was a fengshui tip I learnt in my class!! Good to know Manu is reaching anenjoyable stage!
Chithramma, today its sundaikai pitlai and methi tomato chutney, came out yumm yumm Am licking the 'tasting spoon' already (hide hide!)
Dear Chitra madam A family decided to drop in giving us half an hour notice. I truly panicked; a messy house thanks to the kids and no snacks at house ; thanks to dieting . I made Butter Biscuts ; under 10 minutes prep work was over; by the time oven pre-heated the dough making and shaping was over; kept it oven ran to clean the house. By the time house; kids and I was made "presentable" the cookies was done and same time guests arrived. They were suprised at the homemade hot cookies straight out of oven..and packed some to their home too... So thanks a lot for saving my day;:kiss and also to my dear friends ; this cookies are very very handy ) Thanks a lot and a wonderful week ahead Nitha
Dear Rojapoo, Only God should help those who refuse to correct themselves in the name of abhacharam! No comments Your FB for the masala is the "most pleasant shock" to me!! In the first place I was worried if you will all feel intimidated by the long list of ingredients! Thank God for these mercies!! Ths recipe is "borrowed brain" from a friend!! She has given me the recipes of this masala + one for upma + one for Karnataka gojju! In nattu marindu kadai, they understood the name nakeshwar - I don't think they know a tamil name. That is why I posted the photo!
Dear Deepa, Consecutive FBs from you after quite some time!!Being amumbaiwali, your khandvi looks perfect!! Quite broad also! Lap up all compliments from your spouse!! They are not always generous!! :biggrin2:
