    Hi Friends,

    Calling any phone within the US and Canada is free until the end of the year.
    Calling people on Skype is totally free. Can make call to landlines and mobiles within the US and Canada.

    Works for India too. I talk to my parents back in India using skype. Its free.

    i thought i deleted that msg. what i meant was computer to computer on skype is free. but from computer to skype i think you gotta pay. sorry about that.

    Hi!

    Sorry to butt in. Yeah....skype is free if the person you are calling is also using skype, i.e making a call from your computer to the other computer.

    You have to pay, if you are making a call (through skype) to a phone.

    I talk to my parents everyday using skype & it's absolutely free. You can talk as much as u like, the clarity is good & you can also use the web cam feature. Yahoo is also free, but the clarity i've heard is not too good.
