Welcome to our forum, Maya!! I am very happy to read your FB.
Spread onions smeared with little oil in a plate, bake at a low temperature for 10 mtes to get slightly dehydrated. Cool & use. I think, this way, it will stay for 2,3 days.

Sis visited me today so happened to cook lunch in a hurry... within an hr i was able to make all this coz the confidence we got from you through this forum.
rice, dhal keerai masiyal (used palak), pepper gobi fry, jiffy rasam (i always stock this rasam powder), phulkas, beetroot raitha, pappad, curry leaves thokku, jam fruit triffle (this is one very jiffy dessert especially if we use tin fruits) they loved it so much everything was over and also packed dessert and rasam powder...thank you so much...

    Dear chitramma,
Though it was crispy. I followed one of ur technique, when it is slightly hot
mash it with potato masher. So, few of the boondhis got broken and that helped me to roll it.. Will post the photo..
I felt happy as i was able to roll it and my mom or my mil didn't try it once.

    Dear Mami,

Malai burfi was a repeat and a hit. However this time I made it with a malted drink powder and it was very delicious. I will be making deepawali sweets starting next week.

Ma'am, we love greens and I keep looking for ways and means to incorporate them in something or the other. Thinking of going on a diet...so though I'm cooking...either I'm choosing less oil recipes or cooking the fried versions only for my kid :-( For 2 to 3 weeks only...will keep you updated on whats cooking in my kitchen. Adai recipe is verry tempting...but I don't have saamaan for avial. What else will go best with it? Would be glad if can suggest.

Dear Vidu, This is exactly what I want you all to do. First, for once try verbatim. Later on introduce changes but change not the proportions!! Thanks.
So, what are the Diwali specials???
