I going for 4 month india trip, i am planning to buy pampers & wipes for my india trip. as its easier for me, i heard wearing diaper 24hrs in india will give rashes for the hot climate. we are going to chennai. my boy will be 5 months old during the trip. do any one experienced same please share with me.
No problem... just keep changing the diapers more frequently than in hte US and keep the baby's bums dry-powder his bums everytime you change... get a good nappy rash cream and carry it with you.... have fun at chennai......
Dear nelia, there wont b any problem but take care the diapers are dry enough,or else u can use nappy liners to prevent the diaper rash and will keep the baby's bottom dry...and give ur baby more of baby foods than liquids which can keep diapers dry for longer time...i hope that would help....take care
Nelia, Buy a couple of "Aquaphor" healing ointment packs. Apply every time you change diapers. Worked very well for my son when we returned to Chennai from USA. He was one year old then and was fully on diapers till he turned 2.5 yrs. Aquaphor is just petroleum jelly unlike rash creams such as desitin etc. Hence is relatively harmless. Hope this helps Vani
