Devika One question: ur kid is able to chew the food well?? u ve written that you give him same food as u cook for ur self. how many teeth he has?? my problem is my DD doesnt eat rotis rice or subji.. she takes only cerelac or halwa. she doesnt drink milk as well. and shes 13 mnths now. please advice me what should i feed her
he is 11m today & has 8 teeth.. i would not give cerelac anymore.. make soft aloo / gobi paratha & try that
My kid is 10 months... He wakes up at 6:00... Drinks milk around 120 ml... At 7:15, he has one bowl cerelac...and sleeps.. Wakes up at 9:00 Has milk around 120 ml again...if in mood maybe 2-3 biscuits... At 12:00 has moong daal Khichdi with carrots, beetroot, potato or palak...(either 2 of the options) sleeps off... wakes up at 2 and at 3:00 has khichdi again... at around 5:00 has 120 ml milk.. then at 7:00 has his dinner again cerelac... And off to sleep at 8:00.. One point is in the night he wakes up and I feed him milk at that time... very soon I will replace cerelac with something interesting
Devika, when you say the same food as us, do you also give salt and masalas? My doc here has given a general recommendation that no salt/sugar for babies under 1 year old.
I started salt at 10.5m .. he still doesnt have sugar / cakes / mithai / junk food when i know we are going to eat junk food i prepare khichdi for him with mix veg dal & rice.. now days he LOVES to feed himself with spoon.. makes a BIG mess..
