I know a snack item made by regular chapati flour. Its really tasty as evening snacks.
In a bowl, mix atta, salt, ajwain and baking powder. Add ghee or 1 tsp oil and rub between your fingers so that atta gets coated with it.

    2. Add curd and slowly add cold water just enough to knead the atta into stiff dough. Keep aside, covered, for 15 minutes.
    3. Preheat oven at 180 degrees C.
    4. Take ball out of the dough and roll out into a big round. Prick them here and there with a fork. With the help of a cookie cutter or anything like this 5. Grease a baking tray and place these rounds on it. Bake them at 180 degree C for 20-25 minutes or till they turn golden brown.
    6. Cool these baked atta mathri or biscuits.

    Hi,
If you do baking, you can substitute a portion of the flour to atta flour.
Eg - if muffin recipe calls for 1 1/2 cup plain flour, you can put 1 cup atta and 1/2 cup plain flour. It makes the muffin more wholesome and filling.
I do this for pancakes, muffins, cakes and scones as well.

Try parathas. I make aloo parathas for kids and sometimes make moong dal paratha for myself (with grated carrots and other veggies). This is filling. Apart from chapati, dosa is one quick recipe with the wheat flour.

If you are bored and cannot think of using chapati flour, then use cracked wheat and substitute for rice. This will be a variation. I make cracked wheat khichdi, adai and upma.

U can make chapathi as usual , but leave it on tawa for little more time so that it becomes like papad. Now break it into triangle pieces.

cut some onions, tomatoes , chillies , mix them together and place this above the triangled chapathis. Sprinkle some salt , chat masala , pepper.

This serves as a good evening snack. or u can eat it anytime u feel hungry. You can add any fresh vegetable u like for the topping.

If you are not diet concious or u r making for the kids, u can add onions , cheese , capsicum over this and bake in oven or cook in microwave for couple of minutes and have it. This will be very yummy..
