    Strawberry Squash?

    Dear Chitra Maami,
I'm back after a long time. I have not had a chance to try anything different these days. Just swamped with work and kids. Anyway, I wanted to know if you had a recipe for Strawberry Squash? It is that time of the year and i have a lot of frozen and fresh strawberries and I've done the usual, milkshakes, jams , smoothies etc. Needed something different for the kids. Thought of making Strawberry Soda....

Thanks in advance and I promise to try the recipe and provide feedback immediately!

    Scouts honor!
    Love,
    Sakshi:)

    Sorry, Sakshi!
Strawberries available here are so sour & so costly that I buy them very rarely, unless for a specific recipe to be tried!
My answer to you is in the negative!:-(

    Dearest aunty,
I made a blunder with idli batter today. I added more water and it turned out very watery.
How do i thicken it aunty?? Can i add cooked rice but will the batter stay for a week or make the idlis as such??
    Kindly help..
    Thanks a lot
    Vini

Vini, the only alternative is to take small batches, add wqheat floyr & make "just OK" dosais.
OR make somethick batter & add. Repairing is always a delicate issue :-(

    Chitra maam,

I have half a kg of Peanuts which would be good if used up soon.
I have tried kadalai urundai in the past and somehow the jaggery consistency came out wrong.

Can you please help me with a recipe with tips and tricks to get it right :)
