    You said that her last period started on 30th April right? And she had a 24 day cycle right?
    If yes, then she was ovulating.

    What Priyanka said was in general terms before she knew her last menstrual cycle. Usually the cycle is for 28 days but in your case its 24. So, she was ovulating between Saturday 7th May to Thursday 12th May.

    Hey stalin..not necessary ovulation starts on 12 or 14thday...it is different in different cycles..only thing that remains constant is the luteal phase.

    If your wife's cycle is 24 days and 16days Luteal phase(ideally its between 10 to 18 days and mostly its 14 days).....
    so her next month period should be on 24th May....now counting backwards 16days..she might have ovulated on 8th May...and if you had unprotected intercourse on 5th & 7th..sperms might be alive and may meet the fertilized egg....so there are chances....

    You can consult a doc as what Rakhi suggested....

    Hi,

    well is there anything medications to stop the pregnancy or safety measures to avoid a pregnancy, periods date started on 30th April and end on 4th morning.

    we had sex on 5th and 7th may. we are afraid that we didn't take any contraceptive pill, is there any stoppage to avoid the pregnancy without going for an early abortion.

    P's advice.

    I think first off all you have to confirm that you are pregnant or not for this you have to do a home pregnancy test.After doing this you will be sure taht you are pregnant or not.If you are pregnant and you want a abortion then after consult to the doctor you can use cipla kit I am sure it will really very helping for you.:)

    You had sex on 6th and 8th day after periods) which is less fertile period. Most likely you won't get pregnant at all. I don't think anything else can be done now.

    Fertile days may be 10th to 12th day so only 2 days left. and the sperms can live there in for 3 to 5 days. so little riskier i think so.

    If you had taken the i-pill within 72 hrs as mentioned by priyanka, you would have been safer.. Now nothing can be done.. Just wait and watch!
