Summer Weight Loss challenge - 9th May to 9th June

    With you height and weight,you have a wonderful body already.You ideal weight would be 51Kg smthing.

    All you need is toning muscles and this would infact increase body weight.

    I have same problem.I am little overweight.But even with losing weight i have big(genetic factor) tummy coming out in every dress.


    There is 15min Ab/Core excercises workout from P90x, which is like awesome and super tough.Also Jillians ab workout and Jackie warners ab workouts are also good.

    But important is to do what you like- like sports, cycling,Wii or tennis. so that wokrout is interesting.Wii's boxing is awesome.

    SaWhat happens with me that i workout for sometime ,lose weight, then get bored, lose motivation ..again gain.I cannt help it.

    Yesterday went well..here was my intake

    1 moong dosa, black coffee
    1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup dal, 1/2 cup eggplant curry, 1 cup thin buttermilk
    Homemade Bhel with tea (decided not to add sugar but hubby added it as he didn't know my plan)
    Dinner was a cup of sautéed broccoli, a cup of tomato soup and 10 pieces paneer

    Had lots of water but did not eat a single fruit as I was out most part of the day. I have to start carrying an apple in my bag from now on.

    Went to 45mins pilates class and a 10min walk.

    may I suggest you have something nutritious after workout. also do include fruits everyday

    VLR: For dinner, alternate days go for soups. Also if you having roti, have rotis , if having rice, have rice. Better to have one form of energy..JMO

    I will definitely follow these suggestions. Also rice I have only starchless rice as mentioned in Shiva's blog.
    Will surely plan for soups..

    I will also join . Sri..goal is to loose tummy/start routine exercising.
    day1-May 9th:-
    Bf- 1 cup of fat-free milk with cereal,1 cup of coffee with creamer.
    lunch-1 bowl of couscous,black bean, capsicum salad with 15 grapes
    snack- 1 piece of cake.
    dinner-1 cup of same couscous, black bean,capsicum salad with 1 cup of yogurt,cauliflower dry curry.
    exercise- 80 mins of brisk outdoor walking (4 miles approximately).
