Please advice on low progesterone level

    Last friday i had my preg test and the result was +ve. I went to doctor.
    Nurse drawn some blood and urine.Dr told me that i have low progestrone levels.she gave me 9 number and told 12 is the normal. she pescribed proteim tablet until 12 weeks.I am taking that tablet from yesterday.She also asked me to take ultrasound.Is this anything to be worried.I am 8 weeks pregnant.Please let me known what i should do now.

    Please advice

    Hey,

    It is normally given if one has a low progesterone level.There is nothing to be worried.My doctor says that it would reduce the miscarriage rates caused because of low progesterone.Just don stress about it and have a positive approach!!!

    Hi Sandhya

    Congrats and don't worry abt low progesterone levels. Take the tablets regularly. I had low levels in my first pregnancy and i took the tabs. Now I have a beautiful son. I am expecting my second one now and this time also i have low levels. so taking tabs. its nothing to worry. Stay cool and eat healthy. Do join the dec due date club where you can get so many answer. take care.

    doctor know about your health.during preggy time womens mostly weak because of food habit and polluted environment.the foods are not a good quality one

    hence basically we people are not strong.so this type of tablets are a good supplements.so dont feel you are eating for your baby sake.hence no confusion and worries

    be happy dear and enjoy your pregancy:)
