Yes you can add thick curd to steamed veggies - that is an excellent side dish to Paratha. Steamed veggies + Lemon + steamed sweet corn + pepper + salt will taste good.
Hai soni Uve started with a good thread:thumbsup Here you go with a Veggie salad:thumbsup Beetroot Or Carrot - 1 ( grated) Soaked groundnut or sprouts - 1/4 cup ( soak it overnight) Capsicum - small ( cut into small bits ) Ginger - Half inch ( grated ) Coconut - 1 tbsp ( scrapped) lemon juice - 1 tbsp Coriander & curry leaves - 1 tbsp Pepper and salt mix all the ingredients in a bowl ( IF you wish you can temper ( thalikalam)):thumbsup
Black bean is available in US. I dont think it is available in India. But you can use chickpeas, green peas, rajma or any other kind of beans (butter beans,red chori etc) in it. another salad grated carrot finely shredded cabbage-this should be fresh cabbage lemon juice,salt ,pepper, coriander leaves. mix all and eat with chappathi .
Hi, Sorry missed this post. See if you eat anything overdose, definitely not good. Little quantities are fine. I add it to bring the tangy taste, if you are not a big fan of tangy taste, add jeera-pepper powder
thanks for the tip tamil .its quite informative about this masala. pepper jeera nice idea.in our house we prepare pepper jeera powder for egg omlete.hence easy to use that powder for salads too

A simple carrot salad:thumbsup Carrot - 1 medium ( grated ) Lemon - 1 tbsp ( juice ) Fresh Coriander - 1 tbsp ( chopped ) Green chilly - 1 small ( chopped finely ) Salt & pepper - for taste Mix all the above ingredients with the help of your fingers, mix it real well....when you have it...you can feel the freshness and a tangy taste.
