    Dear SK,
No 'sorry'! I am here to share with you what little I know.
Refrigerate the fresh cream ( it will be like thick milk), pouring it in a little tall, but not wide steel container. After 2-3 hrs, take it out & if necessary keep it on a bed of ice cubes & beat with a hand whisk - not electric because we tend to over do & butter results.
Whipping cream needs practice, so nothing to worry. See the date in Nilgiris & buy.
    All the best.
    Love,
    C

    Dear Pandu,
    I don't use it much!:-(
Please see my recipe for cereal oothappam, where it is one of the ingredients.

I make a porridge with the following:
Roast on a low fire till an aroma comes:
200 gms each of moong dhal flour & ragi flour
100 gms each of jowar flour & fried gram powdered.
Mix & keep. I alternate this with oats & it is very tasty.
    Love,
    C

    Hi Keerthi,
I make a one-string syrup with karuppatti & refrigerate. I add it to coffee, with or without milk as per preference.
