Can you please explain how the name "Turkish" has been derived for this kind of painting ??

actually its done using
pop,chalk powder,fevicol...u can mix these and make a dough....
Frame a hard board of required size
Mix pop with water(liquid consistency) and pour it in the hard board and make sure that it is being evenly spread all over the board.. allow it to dry
Then with the help of the dough make necessary shapes allow it to dry
apply fevicol and arrange it
allow it dry.. paint it according to ur taste
apply Varnish once the paint is dried

i din use any moldings....i made the shapes.. actually its a turkish flower..even u can make different shapes... it all depends on our creativity

WOW an elaborate painting. need to have lot of patience. just wanted to know if you can use pastel shades in these paintings. because when you use a dark background other drawings do not get highlighted. i was lit bit confused. thanks for giving a detailed explanation.i think sudhs ma will be able to enjoy.
