ILites, ofcourse you all now know about the flower show, now. But here is the best part. As part of the show, to encourage kids to garden, they give away some free plants and also help kids with activities as well.

One of the activities is making of a chia pet. It is very simple - take a stocking/sock fill with grass seed (or any seed that grows well) fill with mud tie up put it in a cup such that the seed part is up. Water the whole thing and soon you will see the growth.

This is what my kids created. Hope you all like it - I plan to do the same for Dusshera and have a little garden display. Imagine curly hair, may be using coriander???

    Rama.that sound ground-breaking greenary.
You can use mustard, fenugreek, whole paady(grows out vigourously) and almost all grains.
Had done this type of chia pots during my sis marriage,of course in decorated mud pots.
Now can imply this for my BIL's wedding.
    Great.
    Thanks for sharing.
