Hi All, I am a Maths graduate, also I have done GNIIT. I have some experience in IT comp. but now I wanna be a lecturer. So could u plz suggest me wether MCA from IGNOU is a good idea or I should opt for some other degree. Plz help me....ur suggestions are welcomed.. Thanks & Regards, Pams
Hi!!!!!!! For becoming a lecturer one needs to have completed masters in the subject and after that after passing net/slet etc one can become a lecturer.Net/Slet is not mandatory for phd holders.

To best of my knowledge; I guess you need a regular masters degree. But I am not sure. Maybe you can check UGC site -Nitha
Hi pams, I think MCA course through correspondence wont be a good idea,My cousin had done M.Sc(Computer Science) fulltime and worked as lecturer in college for few years now she resigned her job and enrolled for M.Tech(Computer Science) fulltime as she want to teach in Engineering colleges..so better to study full-time..for full details pls refer to UGC website.
