Small doubt:

• Should we do this weekly ? or daily ?
• If we give 16 pallu to one mutaiduva one week, can we give 16 pallu to the same lady, say after 5-6 weeks ?

16 different varities of fruits....16 different days..(upto you when you want to give...daily or weekly...) to complete the nomu you have 1 yr time from the day you haev started..

Usually you have to pick a good day (i.e iwth out ashtami, navami) or with out amaavasyaa or grahanam days or moodami days..and the fruits you are going to give should be neat, clean and not rotten or weak...(vadili poyinavi, vankara (deformed) fruits shouldnt be given)

This nomu is usually initiated by ladies who want to have kids...they say that based on the kind of fruits we give pandu laanti pillalu pudathaaru ani. Some women avoid starting this vratham before having kids as they are worried about the end result...Its given in the nomu katha also.

No you cant give it to the same woman..(this is what my mom told me..) might be our friends here can help! or check iwth your local temple priest he too can give info on the same...

I am from Bangalore
I stay in HSR Layout and quite weird thing is I don't see anyone here.
I tried asking my neighbor to take this but surprisingly she says she cant take it and Rejected.
Felt so much embarrassed.
I don't have any relatives / friends here ( married close by)

Neighbour is not from my place. I am from Andhra. she is some where from North. Actually my mom said to find any Andhra in same street but am not finding any...
