    Dear Chitraji:

Wish you a happy and prosperous New year.

I saw your dhal roti post. I see mudtard, jeera etc in the prep picture that you have posted but you havent mentioned tempering the dhal.

    Thank you

    Seeta

Varloo, I have trained myself to cook for just the two of us, over the years, by practice!!
    Methi-carrot, alu-methi, corn-methi are all great combos!

    Thanks & love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chitra madam;
No FB's. Was checking the discussions on collard greens. I prepare collard greens with dhal and thoran with coconut. It almost taste like muringa ila ( drumstick leaves).

    Dear Mrs.Chitra,
Wish you a very Happy New Year 2010!
Back with fb after a while. Today made Falafel with sauce. Priya wanted to eat with pita bread, so I made it and gave it her stuffed in a pita bread half with lettuce and tomato and topped with sauce. I loved the flavor of mint and coriander in the falafels. Sauce is out of the world. Priya says it is very authentic as is served here in the nearby Jerusalem bakery! Lovely lunch thanks to you Mrs.C!
    Regards,
    Deepa

    Dear Chitrama

    :hiya

I will try the Rava uttapam recipe you mentioned and fb soon.

Sunday lunch was made by DH. He made Tomato rasam with the fresh Instant Rasam Powder & Bhendi Masala. He topped it with dessicated coconut saying his mom makes it that way.

Both were nice and i drank the rasam. I think my inspiration from CV forum has rubbed on him a bit :) :crazy

    Love
    -P

Thanks, Nitha, FOR YOUR INPUT. MURINGA ILA DOES HAVE A LITTLE 'KADUPPU TASTE' AS S-S HAD MENTIONED.
PERHAPS, IT CAN BE FINELY CHOPPED & ADDED TO VERUM ARISI ADAI OR REGULAR ADAI!
    Love,
    Chithra.
    Sorry, capslock was on!!
