    This summer vacation, we caught up with some cross stitch (yet to finish) and some coffee painting inspired by our friends here..

    DD is not happy of the outcome,free hand., feels it should have come more better, though she is going to present it to somebody after framing...

    The second one is nice than the first one. Colours too nice in this picture.

    Thank you for all the encouragement. the eyes were little challenging and she tried to bring that look after lot of trials..I felt the colors will look better on the hanuman than the motonotonous coffee color...but all the inspiration to help her comes from the hobbies sections..

    All the works are great. Even my kids vacation starts next week.Wondering what to do. But my DD is not so artistic like yours.

    BTW, what is coffee painting?

    oh! Deepa no comparisons. my dd is artistic, and my ds is not, he is more playful and cartoonish.. no two kids are alike.

    there are lot of ways to keep the child engaged.

    Thanks sindhu. she gets more enthu to try reading all the fbs. Coffee decoction did not come so good..so i used bru..and made the consistency accordingly. the painting smells awesome:biglaugh:biglaugh

    lovely creativity from a 12 yr girl.Had to be appreciated for her talents.
    Finished the floral embroidery in a perfect way.All lies in her interest.Usually girl kids have more patient to do all artistic works.Can coolar up for a proud mom.My hugs & pats to her.
