    some of my ideas are:

.avoid keeping carbonated drinks in fridge

.keep home made squashes in fridge.... (just take the pulb of the fruit....add enough sugar&water...boil...cool it ...keep it in fridge.)

.avoid buying lays,kurkurai..like things..prepare home made potato fries...

.first parents must avoid eating junk foods...or do't eat in front of the children.

.if your children are not eating vegetables means...add veg indirectly...

.grind the veg add the veg paste..in idly batter, dosa batter,or in chappati or puri dough.

.make healthy food in attracting way.

.for ezample,if ur child is not eating dosa means....grind carrot or beet root or any color veg ...add this to dosa batter...make dosa like flower,moon,elephant,car...like what your childern likes.

.involve your children in cooking...like mixing dosa batter, cutting puri in different shapes....like that

.do't keep chocolate in your fridge

.eat with your children...

.do't do anything special dish only for the children..children do't like this

.give them waht ever you are eating

.but one thing include any one fauvirate dish in the meal.

give atleast 2 hrs break between meals...do't give anything in between

.after 2hrs they get hungry...so easily you can give healthy food...otherwise they do't.

.ome children eat separately with all the persons in the house...that is mom is eating at 9 clock means they also come 7 eat...then they go foreating with father at 9.30....like with grand ma 7 grant pa.do't allow it .

.eat together...otherwise the children will not hungry around 11....so you cant give fruits...juices etc

.for snacks box, give them fruits.....not heavy food...bcoz they do't get hungry for lunch.

.give then 5 pieces of mixed fruits,4 to 5 nuts,1 biscuit, little juice is more than enough for a kid for snacks

.do't give fried items...like murukku,mixer,....

.they will eat fruit with the children...

    hi shini

thatz very good shini.....one more thing...Dont ever allow children to eat when they are infront of the TV..adults also should follow this. Make them use the dining table and make them enjoy their meal without concentrating on TV programms.

Try to develop taste for dark chocolate , these are actually good in moderation. At least 70% cocoa, lil bitter but still good.
Get unsweetened cocoa powder ,blend with frozen banana , - tada sugar free homemade chocolate ice cream :)
