    Hi Folks
    Created a designer saree from a plain chiffon saree. Used color threads on the net and did applique.

    Wondering.... should I spice it up or leave it alone.:confused2:

    Thought that I will go to the ILites for opinion.

    To vote - YES or NO. If yes, what do you think will add the spice. Now you guys must be gearing for the coming elections. So let me use the mood of yours. Thank you in advnce.

    First I wld like to say that I dont know anything about doing embroidery but jus few things from a laymans point of view....
    ur design looks very pretty, I liked the bird. :clap
    i wld like to vote :yes:... U CAN SPICE THE WORK.
    I think personally i some bead work on that design or a , a glitter here & There wld give the sari a better facelift. :thumbsup

    YES...since sareen is chiffon it takes chamkis well. my idea is to add chamkis at the tip of the curves stems..self colour part looks empty ..so u can add chamis to tht part too...:hide:.......:)

    use sequents, bead works, light stone work to add glamour to the saree !!!

    My suggestion is also to spice it up. A little chamki/bead work is what comes to my mind to spice it up....
