    Hi,

The menu looks alright to me. Though i don't understand why she is given a chapathi/dosa at bedtime (8.30). I have a 4 yr old and when he was 2 yrs old his dinner was done between 6.30-7 and after that he got only milk. I'd cut that meal out at 8.30. and may be try different fruits other than banana as well...

    Hi tuvila,
Try to cut back "ragi" for a week and check if she has the same symptoms.

Do you give ragi kanji at 4.30 and again at 6.30 dosa/chappathi or is only when you give bananas and glass of milk.

    Hi all,

    thx for the replies.

Yeah i do give her ragi kanji at 4.30 pm and again a chappathi or dosa at 6.30 after her evening walk. But i dont give her ragi everyday, maybe twice a week.

I give her solid foods at 8.30 Pm cos she sleeps only around 11 pm everyday.

And she hates milk, actually she hates liquid items. She absolutely refuses to have soups, juice kheer etc.Solid foods is wht she likes!!!

If you are giving ragi kanji, allow full 3 hrs before the next food. But since you are giving only for two days, whenever you give bananas and milk ,try to cut down the 6.30 one and move the 8.30 one little bit earlier.See if this helps

    Thanks for starting this thread.
Sorry though no suggestions from me, need help from other moms.
My DD too hates Liquid. She doesnt use any sipper, tumbler or anything to drink milk. Even water she takes only few sips. i need to gv her liquids only by spoon or like v gv medicines. She cries and twists her body while spoon feeding. bonkIt makes me not able to manage her during that time. Need few more hands bonk

I too gv her dinner very late(8.30-9.30) since she sleeps around 10.30
I cant gv her bedtime milk. Her Milk intake is only 2 times (150ml twice).
i can gv her milk only after a min of 3 hrs after her previous meal. otherwise she vomits everything..... But she is okk(not too good) with her solids....

How to make her drink liquids.

    Thanks in advance

sorry Suki, Tuvila... i've no suggestions to help with liquid intake.

This is off topic but i feel you both could start working on advancing their bed time to 7.30 latest. What time do they get up? I personally feel children are better 'behaved' and 'manageable' when they hit bed at 7.30 and get up at 6-30-7. And the early you start it'll be easier to handle when they enter school. And the main plus would be you'll have time for yourselves... do consider the option.
