Now it seems that Kerala has lots of saree shops. I sw the ad of Emmanuels , I think it is in Kalamassery. Please watch the Mallu channels for knowing more.
Hi Ami, Congrats on wedding. I am from ernakulam. You can check Seematti and Jayalakshmi (both are on M.G.road)for sarees. I took my wedding eve saree from seematti and wedding saree from jayalakshmi. Dark green choice is good, but somewhere I heard green is unlucky colour for wedding. What about ripe mango shade(not bright orange),lialac or dark red shades. You can try from shop and decide which suits you well. All the best:thumbsup
Hello Friend, Sorry to say that Emmanuel is not in Kalamassery ,its in Thrissur near shakthan Thampuran bus stand. Also its a new shop opened recently. Thanks abcy
Hi:hiya Thanks everyone for givign me tips and suggestions.I bought my engagement saree from Kalyan Sarees Kozhikode. They have a nice collection.I opted a kancheepuram saree with stone works which is coffee bean coloured. Thanks Ami
Check out Kasavukada. I bought myself a sooper Kerala style saree last year when we visited my parents-in-law in Kochi. Even though there are only a few occassions like Onam & Vishu when I wear it, its one my prized possessions in the ward-drobe.
