    Hi,
Did anyone recently buy groceries or veggies online? I never bought these things online before. So, I don't know about the quality. I didn't stock up much and all the stores nearby with empty shelves. I need to buy some basic grocery stuff and veggies. Just being rational for past few days and saving it for a week.
I have Amazon prime. I see they have fresh and whole foods for veggies/groceries. Also, heard from a friend that kroger has online shopping with pickup option.
So, planning to get some stuff online. Any suggestions please?

I have tried Instacart many times earlier.
You can add your comments in the description for each item. Be specific with your requirements.
Eg. Milk / bread with longer expiry date, pick the fruits which are fresh and not rotten etc.

If the product is not available, the website allows you to choose alternatives.
And if you are not happy with the product you can contact their customer service. I had good experience with them.

Also instacart has tie up with all the major grocery stores including Whole foods, Costco etc

I usually do Instacart and it is usually a very smooth process. However these days since so many items are missing in the stores the online services also have trouble. The delivery windows have also become very long. Since you have Amazon you can try the delivery from Whole Foods but keep your expectations low at this time.

Yeah. I can understand. I don't expect it to be so early delivery or the items so fresh.
I just need some decent quality veggies. Will try in whole foods or fresh from Amazon.

I have tried only walmart pickup. it is free and if there is an item issue they would issue the refund almost immediately and no need to return the item. Sometimes they substitute items but if you dint want that there is an option before you check out. I started using walmart pickup before covid 19 situation, as it saves a lot of time for me. Now the pickup has item limitations, but most things are still available in our local walmart. Only downside I felt is they use alot of plastic bags. but if i keep the used bags in trunk the associates will take them back to the store when they come up to load the grocery next time.

    Oh..thank you!!
Did you order it yesterday and got it today? Is it coming from whole foods? From which shop? I have never used instacart before.
    Will definitely give a try.

I order from costco . Delivery time depends on your zipcode and demand. Before I have received it same day. Now it takes min 2 days . Go to nearby grocery store website and check it. If you are close to Whole foods it is better to drive and pick it up. Many stores will have pick up option too.
