Pigrimage In Times Of Pandemic

I think it has to do with lack of common sense and nothing to do with being religious . One of our friends went to compete international tournament in spite of travel restrictions . Once they reached the venue the tournament was cancelled . Now they are vacationing there . We can see millions of incidents around us where people are making incorrect decisions . It finally boils down to common sense nothing related to God . Just blame the human brain

There was seniors Olympic qualification tournament where many athletes from different countries participated last week . It happens at individual level , group level and country level . The reason why we have so many positive cases is not because of religion . People didn’t listen to warnings and kept going with their usual life . In ca cruise left with 3500 people after outbreak happened . I’m sure those 3500 people didn’t go for Rama jayanthi . What about Italy ? Did they also celebrated Rama Navami ?Why are you picking just this one isolated incident ? Do you have problem with religious celebration during corona outbreak or religious celebration itself ?

 

Certainly there is a need to rethink our attitude towards many things, especially about what we are doing to mother earth Balajee! It most certainly is a stern warning - I am afraid, I cannot say dangerous times though. Being thoughtful, mindful and respectful of our surroundings (and that includes our fellow beings) is much needed, no doubt about it.

We have to ditch this I couldn't care less attitude and get mindful (if that is the right word). As we were winding up school and I distributed material to take home, I mentioned "I will get you a plastic bag to take work home if it doesn't fit your back pack" and immediately one of my students said "But, Mrs.S I don't want to kill a turtle - you have been talking about it". I was totally moved, even though I said, "you can recycle you know", I went around the school hunting for cardboard boxes for all the students (despite the craziness) and succeeded.

In times like this, it is good to remember


We can all do that - whether it is keeping social distance, recycling or even every now and then showing empathy to some who are not able to do these small things even. At least that is what I believe and try to do.

 

Just got a forward that many temples are closed. Hope all stays well home safely

 

The pilgrimage centres should be close down as it’s not possible to control the public. The selfish attitude and irresponsible behaviour of people is just seen here in USA as well. The recent Florida beach behaviour and replies by the young people shows how selfish people can behave without any social responsibility.

God has His hands full. Suddenly this CoronaVirus has multiplied itself n times. There are n numbers killed by doctors also lying unattended. This is in spite of their short life. On the one hand He has to control their reproductive energy and on the other hand burry the dead.
Humans are requested to take care of themselves till He is in a position to control the Corona population.
