Cold shoulder some Stuff is nice but generally am More Comfortable with sleeveless.

I also like to dress for the climate..some people wear short skirts and boots during winter and wondered how they manage!

Similary...jeans in Indian summer..I sweat looking at them:)I feel in India we can wear amazing stuff ,take advantage of the weather, wear dresses, palazzos rather than jeans and leggings..

My friend in Bangalore refrains from wearing Indian and wear tight jeans coz she feels she might be called behenji:)

You style sounds very classy! It syncs with my taste too..I like to:)

Short skirt/dresses with boots work wonder during fall/winter. I wear a lot of skirts in winter (in fact I am wearing one right now in 25 F weather). I pair with fleece-lined tights or double up the socks. As long as the feet are toasty, a little bit of skin between boots and hem of the skirt doesn't make you feel cold.

Jeans in North Indian summer are just fine. Regular denim (100% cotton, not stretchable) is breathable and actually better than some chinos and khakis and a lot better than stretchy leggings. You just need to find the right denim. Paired with a loose white cotton blouse/ shirt, it can be a perfect outfit.

However, custom-made Indian salwar kameez is hard to beat.

Exactly! The Indian salwar kameez works best for me when I go there..airy and more relaxing especially with the palazzos..love them than the leggings!Palazzos with collered kurti makes a woman look so smart!

Which is the best brand of Jean you buy here?

I usually buy my jeans from Ann Taylor or Online- Everlane and 7 for all mankind are my favorite. I keep one of each style- skinny, straight, wide leg. Lately, I am wearing more skinny so I have these in different washes.

I buy my jeans from express and AE sometimes Gap, they’re like standard fit for me. Love the fit and I’m petite, very few stores I really get my size. After baby I could never get back to old size.. trying my best to loose those pounds and wear my jeans. I so miss wearing jeans.

Good to hear from a fellow petite. Petite and curvy here and in the same boat. Old jeans don’t fit after baby even after losing weight. I guess body restructures itself . I like Gap as well... more so the skinny cargo pants from gap.

From a no lipstick ,no moisturizer, just Kajal lip balm girl, I have slowly started experimenting with my makeup.
So for some get togethers/funtions it's some foundation/compact,lipstick (yes have around 7 in my collection now :grin:) ,heavy Kajal, eye shadow, earrings and statement neckpiece with deo and perfume. Yes I always use my deo first and then go with perfume on top of it. Not sure how I smell but can't go out without deo .

Causal outing : just moisturizer, lip balm, kajal and earrings.
I'm mostly in comfy jeans and t shirt kinda dress.

Oh I never enjoyed nail polish nor maintaining the nails. So I hardly use nail polish. When a comment comes from someone (sister, bestie etc) I put a nail polish and it stays for months until someone says can you change or remove that nail polish.
The last nail polish was on Feb 5th for my sister's house warming . Just noticed my nails needs a change! .

Being a Saree person, never lose any opportunity to wear a Saree for any function.
    What I don't like is :
Just nothing on others. Whatever is comfortable on them I have no comments for it.
But I have hated myself for a few fashion disasters.
Like the recent one being :
** For a new year fashion show event I went with a smoked eye and extremely dark lipstick :facepalm: To get comments from my hubby like " you look like you sucked someone's blood, a vampire basically "

** straight hair. God has gifted me beautiful curls. At one point I went with chemical straightening and hated to see myself in the mirror. It just didn't suit the texture of my hair and could not undo what I did and took a vow I'll never straighten again and just kept waiting for my hair to regain those curls.

** heels : I'm usually taller than most of my friends with just wearing flats and them wearing heals. Wearing heels makes me look like an odd one out in most of the photos. So I don't like heels. Good for me. Don't have to deal with the after effects of wearing those heels .

I have straight hair but I really liked curly hair, wavy hair and they look really flirty and lovely in my opinion..honestly!

I quite like sarees but i love clothes which are just a two Minute affair:)
Saree takes a very long time to wear and it looks beautiful only if it has perfect pleats and am not so good with saree still:(

I like block heels very comfortable and am not for the pointed heels..I like flats too..

Personally do not like makeup at all..except for eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara. It makes no sense in my case to Wear lipstick coz it goes away in two minutes :)

    Tall,saree,curls..you sound beautiful!
