Weightloss From January 1st 2020

    09.01.20 :

    Morning : 1 coffee,3 Dosa with Tomato chutney
    Afternoon : 1 Tea , rice with suraikai pulicurry and white pumpkin kootu
    Evening : 1 Coffee and veg puff
    Dinner : Semiya bath.

    Need to reduce coffee and tea intake,but unable to do it .
    Exercise - 20minutes

    I am a big fan of Jillian, her workouts and nutrition tips gave me the best results. Simple lemon juice in warm water on a empty stomach works. Here is a detox drink/tea by Jillian Michaels

    Add spirulina powder into smoothie. I know the taste is very bad but it’s very good for detox.

    I started using HealthyFi app. Most of my days my calories intake is 1200 but over the weekend it goes upto 1600.
    I guess I don't have a lot of control on my food intake. DH gets lots of tempting food over the weekend or if we have friends over, special food is cooked. Please suggest how can I stay away from the yummy high calorie food which is easily available to me over the weekend.

    My weight is still the same. 2 weeks of trying to follow a healthy life-style and no change in weight. I wanted to reduce 2 to 3 pounds every month. Seems so difficult. :(

    Controlling portion size and cravings is the hardest thing to do, but you can do it! I tend to crave more when I avoid something completely, what worked for me is to eat a small portion of my favorite food and immediately munch on cucumber or carrot till I feel satiated. Make sure to have healthy options like salads,grilled protein at home.I would suggest that you try making baked/grilled versions of your favorite snacks at home.Try to find healthy substitutes when you go out. For example if you go to an American restaurant look for the calorie chart and ask for lighter foods and choose healthy sides.When I go out I like to keep my calories under 500, so I end up ordering items from their lighter menu. Don’t worry you will get there.

    Also self motivation is the best! Hang your favorite dress and look at it everyday to remind yourself that you need to lose those extra inches. This will keep you motivated to workout for atleast 30 mins 5-6 days a week

    I am happy with the free version. I got good advise from a nutritionist and fitness expert outside HealthifyMe app.In fact he was the one who recommended me to use the app. He trained me well so I never found the need to use the paid version.

    With the paid version you get instructions regarding diet and exercise from a certified expert via phone and chat/email.They now have an added feature to unlock some health related recipes. You could try the one week free trail and then decide if it’s worth.

    Hi all,

    Please count me as well.

    My ideal Weight:53
    Current Weight: 87.550
    I am 40 and have gone through hysterectomy few years back. I have determined to loose weight this year at any cost. I was 89.7 kgs when I started.

    Please give me some tips to reduce belly fat if any.
