I am good Anitha, How are you??
I make it in couple of options:

If it is only idli - then 2 cups of whole finger millet/ Ragi flour mixed into 1 cup of Urad dal batter and ferment it overnight.
If I want to make it dosa as well- 2 cups of whole Ragi/flour + 1 cup brown rice + 1 cup Urad dal + 2 tb fenugreek seeds and 1/2 cup poha, grind it and ferment it

I follow the idly option as below both for dosa & idly same method dear! I think for ragi we don’t need to ferment it .. just the first day will be bland taste and the 2nd day onwards it will taste good. I heard ragi causes constipation if uncooked well. Any thoughts on it ??

I heard about the constipation too, thats the reason my mom suggested to ferment it, the probiotics will help the gut and easily digestable as well..
