When we all gather in full strength and in gay abandon to welcome the New Year, we hardly give a thought to the year that is becoming history. We do not even bid it a formal farewell. That’s the way of live. All newspapers bring out a supplement to highlight the events of the preceding year. They give the outgoing year a shriveled old man’s image! We, the humans, also have to go through this cycle unless we have a Time Machine that H.G.Wells conceived! Why do I talk about all this? That’s the Rambler in me!

Now that the New Month of the New Year has begun, do continue your hunt for the Finest Posts. There is no better way to applaud our fellow writers than by nominating them.

Each member is allowed to nominate up to 4 posts only. This will not include your seconding of a nomination. In other words, only your primary nominations will be accounted towards the permitted four nominations.
This ensures that each of us have a hand in deciding the winning post as we will filter our choice more closely, thus making the winner more significant.

It is nice to lay hands on a typical girvanish musings! It is a post that brings her closer to our heart. She is here after four months and I hope that she would be more regular in 2020.
That quote of Sarah in the end is so much like our own Dr. Kalam who kept telling us to dream. Doesn't remind you of his hard-hitting 'Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep'?

Thanks a lot for your nomination of @Yumna 's two threads Stories of the prophets and Verses from the Holy Quran.
The fact is that Yumna is presenting these two venerated posts for almost eight years without a break. I am a regular follower of these posts almost from inception. They are a great learning opportunity for me. Yumna does kindle the feeling of 'vasudhaiva kutumbkam' through her posts.
