It is quite common for babies to have tiny noses in the begining. They grow into their ' genetic ' noses as they grow. Both my girls had buttons for noses .....they now have their dad's generous noses.
@Thyagarajan Here is something about getting older, and being poor at the same time, in America. Anyone cleaning someone else's house, or doing that at a hotel (cleaning room, making beds etc..) is a poor person, who does not come to work in a limousine.
I have eaten Vidhyarthi Bhavan Dosa in Bangalore.. @anika987 thread on missing desi foods reminded me of that. I can make a tolerable variation of that vidhyarthi bhavan dosa. The darkish color comes from the channa dal in the mix (one may also add besan to get that). Foreign living desi's have to copy what they see on videos from India, and make do with DIY. This video shows that dosa-chutney is the normal karnataka way to eat; eating sambhar with dosa was imposed on them by the Tamils who moved there.
Butter Chicken has such a spectrum of variations in shops. I wanted to produce something that is close to what a shop near the Jama Masjid serves. Tough to do without the practice that the chef had acquired through the volume of business they do.. In the youtube video, at about 4:30, the seemingly random guy sitting next to the food critic, just sneaked off with a piece of chicken. Hilarious !! Girls watching all these things on the internet could feel that there are still places where only men can go to enjoy such things.
