Thanks. I like this forum. It is well run.It has moderators and admins to look after posts and posters. It has a fairly good redressal system and posters can report posts openly or anonymously. More often than not the reports are looked into . That is why I feel there is no need for poster patrol or even accusations. Just report and if you are correct action will be taken. I have reported posts and sometimes action was taken and sometimes it was not and I assume that with all the behind the scenes knowledge,moderators took the right decision. It is that simple.
Same here. I have reported certain posts, and the mods have taken actions immediately. Some times mods have come back for clarifications before acting right away. Either way, it is evident that mods are watching. That's what we need from such an active forum where faceless members gather and discuss serious matters. Hope this negative trend will soon come to an end.
It can be closed, if I or you or anyone for that matter starts forum patrolling in a degrading manner. If that happens, the thread can be closed. But I propose, they remove such posts instead of closing the entire thread. Nevertheless, I hope everyone will be civil, and take their misunderstanding to a private chat than accusing each other in Public. @Viswamitra sir has said it all... Netiquette In Forums
I hope they just remove the posts instead of closing thread. I have had many of my posts removed in the past and have never had any problems with it.
