Closer To Which Side Family, Dad's Or Mom's?

yes we had a family tree from my dads side . but nothing that i made for my child yet .with isolated nuclear families not sure how interested the kids would be in finding out about ancestry in the coming decades .

eh ? We never explicitly post FFTI in every post; but I am positive it is meant every time someone tosses one into an anonymous forum discussion.

We underestimate the need for information about the various family connections in our children's lives. They may not be interested when they are 10,15, or 20. But when they are much older, say 30 or more, their interests go into odd directions. And it is also pleasant to find out that we are pretty much everywhere... top 2 in the list:
