    Hi!
    New member here.
I pray to god that may he shower all Health and Abundance on your dad.
I am a walking example of how trusting the universe can lead you to wonders. In 2013 when I got married, within 2 days my dad became terribly ill. He was admitted immediately and was shifted to ICU. As a new bride, I was harassed to not go out and care for my dad in Hospital (I lost my mother in 1995 so it's just me, younger brother & our dad). My in laws didn't support me a bit, I had just left my job, had spent whatever little I had saved on my marriage, had no where to go for help. My dad stayed in hospital for one long month. I used to cry every day and night hoping he will respond to treatments. I was deep down to my wits, my younger brother and me we both spent many anxious nights listening to all weird things from various Doctors. At the end it came to point where they announced that he needs to be off the ventilator as he is not responding to any treatment. His body had been crumbled as a result of no physical activity, his mouth was covered with Candida (fungus) we could see blood and pus oozing out. His whole body was infected and there were boils and pus. He had developed bed sores. No amount of antibiotics cured his Hospital acquired Sepsis when he was admitted for difficulty in breathing. It was the most stressful time of my life with no moral support and insufficient funds and no job. I was on the verge of heading for a divorce as i didn't go to Honeymoon with my husband my in laws were furious, to my utter horror they stopped talking to me. My brother was heartbroken. I was desperate for my dad to come home. I didn't know how that would happen but i wanted that to happen badly. I took my in law's indifference, my financial struggles, and Doctors' indifference as a challenge. I had to either give up and cry or fight for my dad's health. I knew i can not do much when it comes to Medical treatments because he was in one of the best Hospitals. So i gathered all bit of my strength and began praying, i was praying endlessly every minute. I was connecting to the Universe, I was praying to my lord (I connect spiritually to Lord Shiva a lot). Few relatives came and made fun of me saying i don't have a look of a new bride, i look like skeleton, i should let my father die peacefully, he will attain Vaikunta(he was 62 years old then). They came there to bid him goodbye not to support me. So i was praying, my brother was trying to stay positive. One day Doctors called us for a consultation and said 'we know you love your father but look what you are doing to him, he is in a very bad state, his Kidneys are failing probably by evening his organs might collapse one by one. Don't be emotional listen to us, we can help you, we can stop treatment, let us know. if you want to continue treatment we won't stop you'. After this 'pep' talk we refused to budge. You know what happened? That evening at 5:00 my dad opened his eyes. his vitals were slowly stabilising within 2 days he was conscious completely, on third day he asked for a cup of coffee and that's when i came to know he is back. But our struggles started from there! He had Neuropathy, he had lost ability to walk. We had to feed him through tube as he was still not able to take hard food through mouth and he was on rehabilitation for Neuropathy. It took another 6 months for him to start walking using a walker. I stayed with my dad for 8 months. When he started to walk and manage his daily activities I slowly began visiting my husband who was in Malaysia at that time. Today my dad has resumed his life like before, though he is not like before he is still living a quality life.
I know i shared a long story but i wanted to tell you that i was able to come out of my desperate situation only through PRAYERS. I don't know how but it worked. Please keep praying I will also pray for your dad. I could pray for my dad strongly because I got that strength at that time. Daughters have strength.

I was wondering why ChennaiExpress is so quite, thats when I was digging and found this thread.

Started reading @CRASHASH post again. Happy for you @CRASHASH .

Can I tell you something, every single word I am connected to the hospital part but with me it was my beautiful MOM. Dr said lets take off her ventilator and bid good bye the day I landed in India. We all sisters rejected, my dad wasn't ready to let her go or to continue due to high bill from international hospital.

Every day we were allowed to see 2 times for 2 mins. Morning shift I went and touched her. She was unconscious. I didnt see her for more than 3 years, felt earth was shacking under my feet to see her like that. Couldn't able to stay for more than few seconds. I was shivering. That evening my sisters went to see her. Next morning I wasn't ready to see her, I was scared. My sisters went again, you know what. She opened her eyes and by signs she asked for me. My sisters called me and told me and asked to come to hospital. I was crying and telling them why are you messing with me, why are you lying. Because I didnt believe it. I went in ICU, she recognized me and asked everything by signs. Then slowly unconscious. Our hopes regained, right after 24 hours she is no more. Still trying to come out of that emptiness.

Oh no, why I am thinking about all these when I am not strong enough. My sleeves are fully wet of wiping tears.
