When that happens, ReHaB or this thread are the right places to continue. Explain away what you thought that post was about.
Some cats are more curious than others. However, we are in a timepass hobby, with a meagre hope of serendipity, and there is really no point in deep attentions to anything.
I posted a picture of the place-setting in the Relationship Hijack and Banter Thread. Here is the first course: Salad. We would start with the fork (on the left extreme) and the knife (on the right extreme). The cutlery is used from the extremes going in. The soup-spoon is on its own, to be picked up by the right hand. If the host knows the diner well enough (to be a leftie), it may also appear on the left.
A few years ago I read the story of a car accident in Delhi. A tinny, boxy, small car was smashed up and lying upside-down on the road. The driver was wedged in with only his hand out signing for passersby's to help. One man came forward, and held that waving hand, and pulled off the wrist-watch and the gold ring, and took them away. All the others stood at a safe distance and watched the blood, and mangled metal. In the west, when people go to funeral-wakes, and it happens to be an open-casket viewing, the funeral directors have to request people not to use their cell phones to take selfies with the departed. However, we see a lot of them on instagram. Like this one: V for victory ? Perhaps he is a fortunate beneficiary on the will of the departed, showing his emotions. And then there are the lower order misbehaviors. By people who go to hospice, or eldercare homes, as relatives or as unrelated volunteers. To visit those on palliative care, until they pass on. There are instagram/facebook photos. And if there aren't photos, there are verbal selfies in essay formats.
