    Thanks a ton,
In fact, so much have developed since I posted here.

First of all, it was not my brother who suspected me or my cursing as an issue. But it was my mother, who was under the influence of my brother's MIL mentioned this. Both ladies in the 70s, are now blabbering. But that made me think as to how and who is behind this kind of unnecessary accusation on a serious issue like this.
A heart to heart talk with my brother helped me clarify this.

After which, we went on to seek evidence, and I've posted the details in another thread of @SinghManisha in detail.

The sick child will always have my prayers, and I will do what it needs to do to bring the kid out of danger

This reminds me of south indian orthodox belief in conducting navagraha shanthi to be followed by Ganapathi homam pooja And bhajan. This all need to be done to ward off the evils curse as well as its presence.
    God bless.

    @SGBV
A SON of my friend was told to leave home only after the raghu kalam to see a local ever busy VIP for job recommendation. It was Mon. The boy left home immediately after expiry of raghu kalam ie after 9.30.a.m.
In about ten minutes he had arrived at VIP's bungalow. The security at the gates informed him that minister was all along at home and waited for raghu kalam to expire. He had just left with p.a. to inaugural function.
This boy cursed his ill luck and his dad.
All persons mentioned here are highly educated but believe in superstition and curse(?).
    God bless all.

What is education has got to do with curse?
Curse is an evil attempt to destroy someone, and we Christians believe words have powers both positively and negatively.
This is further explained in the holy bible.
Now, there are millions of Christians who follow the holy bible are coincidentally educated too.

But that's not the heart of this discussion.

Here, the word "curse" has been discussed among two old ladies (in 70s), and one of them happened to be my mom. She then told this to me in agony, as she was made to believe, it was my curse that affected the kid.
I don't blame her for this, but I am hurt because she chose to believe someone else instead of me. I did not curse anyone at the first place. My anger was that my mom should have defended me.

Secondly my mom made me believe that the other person who discussed this with her was my brother. Hence I was super angry, because I expected my brother to trust me!!!

After a few days, everything got resolved, as I had a heart-to-heart discussion with my brother. He denied saying anything as such.
Now it is proven that someone else is playing here with our circumstances, and using our old mom to the drama.
Thank God, we could identify the culprit and resolve all the issues around us.
The culprit was non-other than my brother's MIL - who always had a fear about my involvement in her DD's life and future; hence always tried her best to distance me (and my family) from her DD's family (brother's family).

    Hope it is clear now.

Shanti, homam and bhajan should all set the cursed back a few shillings, no? Those who cannot afford such remedies are likely too poor to get cursed in the first place. No wonder someone had mused...."Blessed are the poor..yada yada" in Beautitudes.

Before that, this forum should evict some curses from here.
Those "Mr and Mrs I know everything" are the curses of this community.

With whatever the half-backed knowledge and experience, they can twist and turn the OP into something completely different. Specially when the poster is in the bad frame of mind, like what happened to this thread!!!

A family issue between siblings was what posted here. In that context, there was a line about curse, but it was used to highlight the sensitivity of the issue. It is like, how someone could target their opponent based on such sensitive matters.
But the whole context was about how a loving brother and sister had difference of opinions, and how an inferior SIL changed the whole equation, blah blah blah....
If it was about curse or BM, this thread would have been posted in the spiritual section, not here.

Sadly some genius came in, and gave their piece of mind, which completely twisted the purpose of this thread.
Nevertheless, one should learn to ignore curses (whatever/whoever it may be) is the lesson that I've learnt through this thread.

:hello: “The boy cursed his ill luck” he is educated.
    I think I haven’t said anything else.
If a serious of bad thinks follow, one considers many solutions that includes for some - warding off evil (eyes) by way of divine intervention.
I appreciate the sensitivity of the post and I have stated general observation.
    Thanks and Regards.
    God bless.
