I suffer from very bad wheezing issues almost all through the year except maybe summer..
Please suggest any healthy habits or exercises or food habits to help cope with wheezing..
Note: I even have nose blocks lately and the block is not due to mucus but due to inflammation of tissues.. any suggestions for this will also help..

Have you tried Pranayama related to wheezing?

Spending 15-20 mins breathing consciously early morning when the air is fresh helps a lot. You can check some YouTube on what kind of pranayama helps for wheezing. 7777

:hello:I happened come across this hand mudrA claiming to cure or considerable reduction in wheezing if practiced frequently daily over a period of time.
This appeared in tamil written by a lady claiming to have felt great relief after practising it for over three to six months. No after effects no costs only invest time.
In tamil it is called swasakosa mudhra.
Last finger or ladies finger tip held over line at bottom of thumb inner.
Ring finger tip touching the middle line. ( see illustration)
Middle finger tip touching the tip of thumb.
Index finger held away from the rest.

To Begin hold in this position for five minutes intervals.
Gradually the duration can be increased upto thirty to forty minutes.
Relief can be felt in about three months.

For information. One must endeavour to gather more particulars from experts before adopting this method.

    Thanks and Regards.

Amla is a natural coolant and is known to bring down the body’s temperature. Some say that it can aggravate cold in sensitive people. It can be used in the form of Triphala powder (equal amounts of Amla, haritaki, vibhitaki) by diluting it in warm water with honey. They say that this will help keep respiratory side effects of amla at bay.You can check with a reputed Ayurvedic doctor if this is true and if Amla suits you. I have been eating it everyday and it suits me well.

Here are the benefits of Amla
    1. It is helpful in improving eyesight. It reduces redness, itching and watering of the eyes.
    2. Daily consumption of amla can boost your immunity due to its high concentration of vitamin C.
    3. Amla increases your hemoglobin level, red-blood cells count and thus, purifies blood.
    4. Amla is also rich in anti-oxidants, which help fight free radicals that are responsible for early ageing.
    5. Amla aids digestion and cures acidity.
    6. It helps build up resistance against respiratory track diseases like cough, cold, sore throat etc.
    7. Amla also has vitamin E and beta-carotene, which is also antioxidants.
    8. If you want lustrous hair, eat amla or use amla-based shampoos. It helps in hair-strengthening.
    9. Amla is used in chawanprash.

Update: I tried the mudra and amla method..
I can say there was a little improvement but since it takes so long there are times where I had given up..I do try it now and again..
I wish there was an easy cure:cry:
will continue more promptly and will update more on the progress..
