In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is how you take it and what you learn from it, not only we have to learn but dont make the same mistake again. It depends on how we react to it and what we make out of it. . Life is all about learning, adopting and converting all the struggles that we experience into something positive.

Happiness is not in leading a luxurious life , in a relation we have to understand each other , find time to keep our spouse happy and do those little things for each other which will build intimacy. Life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people. I’m not the best . But what I’ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults – and choosing to celebrate each others differences – is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

Failure is a part of learning. We should never give up the struggle in life. You Fail not because you are destined to fail, but because there are lessons which you need to learn as you move on with your life.

We have to learn to respect and respect you have to earn, you cannot force it on others to respect you. There is a thin line between Fear and Respect, every one of us should understand it and do necessary corrections in our personalities.

Life is Short. Spend much time as you can loving and caring people who love you. Enjoy each moment with them before it’s too late. There is nothing important than family. In everone's life there are strange experiences. sometime it shocks you and sometimes it may surprise you. We end up making wrong judgments or mistakes in our anger, desperation and frustration. However, when you get a second chance, correct your mistakes and return the favor. Be Kind and Generous. Learn to Appreciate what you are given.

We learn everything from experience, thats why elders teach us what they learnt and try to make us a better person but in our young age we dont realise that they are advising us for our better and dont give importance to some advises which we realise later after aging only that why missed learning what we were taught.

When I look back I remember the good advices my grandmother used to give . Without having much facilities they lived they had to struggle a lot but still they lead a life with peace and happiness. They were satisfied with what they had , thats why they were happy.

Hi maami, did not give a feedback as I was fully in agreement with your thoughts.
Especially this QUOTE"Happiness is not in leading a luxurious life , in a relation we have to understand each other , find time to keep our spouse happy and do those little things for each other which will build intimacy. Life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people. I’m not the best . But what I’ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults – and choosing to celebrate each others differences – is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship."UNQUOTE
Personally though, Im yet to fully accept the differences when it comes to my spouse of nearly 38 years now, although I try to do my best - little things crop up ! Would do well to keep your advice in mind all the time:blush:

My best lessons have been taught by my grandmother. I have always wondered how my mum didnt inherit that quality from her. She loved all the children of her daughters equally. My fond rememberance of her were when we all used to gather at her place for festivals. We were not that well off. And there were so many mouths to feed. So she made this big 'chetti' of 'thayar saadham' keeping the 'narthangai' aside and then say stories. And she said this enacting the characters so well. One such story was 'chukku chukani, balapareneswari & unninarayana' the 3 kittens, the wolf and the mother cat . All of us tiny creatures used to sit there glued lisining to her story as she handed over a round ball of thayar sadham topped with that narthangai and ate that all the while lisitning to her story and when the wolf would pounce on the next kitten. She taught us what contend meant then with just the curd rice and the piece of narthangai.

    That was mouthwatering FB.
WHEN my mom was away for a fortnight, grand mother of my class mate made me sit in her semi dark kitchen along with her five grand daughters and two grand sons in a semi circle and offered us from makkal kachitti, by her palm - thairsadam to each one of us in turn.

    2. From Our left hand a bite of salted dried narthangai followed by a swallow of thairsadam - a heavenly feel.

    3. Once my daughter with her hubby happened to stay for visa interview in a nearby five star adjacent to US consulate in a metro & rang up at night that though she felt hungry yet stomach was giving queer feeling. I told her for dinner to get & have dahi bath with NARTHNAGI salted.

    4. She had with great delight phoned up after an hour or so that she had that curd bath served with narthangai and felt great relief. Later when I came to know that precious relief costed her ₹650. OMG never order a la Cart room service in star hotels.

I think this anecdote subsumed an unforgettable evergreen LIFE LESSON! Life is like that. I agree with OP.

    Thanks & Regards.

GOD is kind that He concealed ghee in butter, butter in curd, curd in milk & I to long for curd bath!
