my kid's weekly 250. I prefer to join where somebody I personally know gives good reviews and they joined their kids before. Christmas week/snow days, spring break etc pls find out with school.

A lot will depend on where you live. In my place an in-home daycare will cost between $1000-1500 per month. A center will cost between $1500-2200 per month. They are generally closed for all federal holidays. My daycare provider also takes a 2-week vacation each year for which she arranged a substitute.

I would contact the daycares in your area directly and inquire about their prices. Also ask about their wait lists, depending on when you need it to start. If you can get friends or coworkers recommendations that will be the best. You can find in-home daycares from Care.com etc. Make sure that they are licensed.
