Happens with me many times... As they say, being forgetful is a sign of inteligence. So I worry not...

Last time, I forgot my jacket during winter times in Rwanda. It was something like 1-2C and I was almost freezing as I got down from the car at my work place. Poor me, that day I wore a sleeveless top.
It was like, I had an interesting phone call that morning when my office car came to pick me up. I just jumped from my home to the car while seriously talking to a friend and forgot this jacket thing.
We went very far, and there was no time to come back or even to buy a jacket on the way. I was almost freezing, but thankfully one of my colleagues had an extra jacket in the office that helped me to survive that day.

I often forget my earrings, or watch amidst many other things, including the mobile phone

I am forgetting my phone a lot.

:hello:Was in great hurry to reach our office. Hence in the morning it was all frenetic.
On platform three burners on - one milk - in middle sambar & - the third veg being fried.
From her bath she loudly said, “honey take care of milk: put adequate salt to sambar: keep all burners in sim flame”.
Pulling my trousers up, dashed into kitchen, turned the knobs to sim position and did follow rest of her instructions but in different order.
In great hurry did all this and loudly told so that she in bath can hear that
    “Ok all done”
A while later, when she entered the kitchen she turned all knobs of gas stove to off position & tasted sambar and found no salt. Then she tasted the veg and was ok.
She immersed the ladle into the milk. She got curdled sour milk.
“Hello honey! You can’t have coffee now. Milk turned curd.
OMG. I REALISED & she too.
She stared knitting her eyebrows told loudly “you put salt into the milk”.

:hello:Men in kitchen desired and undesired by spouse in various stages of family life.

    2. At times they detest men distancing from kitchen and at other times they desire DHs proximity in the kitchen. The reasons hard to fathom. Anyway during those golden period, I had with her in haste to make curry hurry and worry to go to office. Both employed means oh my good god, how we managed to sail through.
    3. A glimpse of my modest cooking abilities narrated in my post link annexed here under for your perusal .

I once had the comb stuck in my hair and left for college.. A little girl yelled Akka.. You have seepu (comb) in your hair :) From that day until today I always run my fingers through my hair.
I went to the gym wearing the shirt flipped and didnt realize until I came home. The guy in the reception looked at me little weirdly which I ignored :) . I removed the size sticker of my cardigan and happily roaming in the floor when one guy very hesitantly asked me whether it is a new cardigan.. I was shocked how he knew and said Yes.. and why ? He said ..I observed the tag :). I pretended to act normal and removed that tag..

Those were the days I lived in Dubai but drove to Abu Dhabi for work. I usually wore jeans n tee and kept a pair of office clothes and my heels in my car. After a really long weekend the very next working day, I had overslept and was getting really late. Absolutely no time to do my hair or even change my pyjamas. So I always kept this 'Abaya' handy:sunglasses: fhis means no matter what I wore inside all the 'Abaya' covered it up all..in addition my lab had recently chewed off my d/l so cutely that half my photo had tiny bite marks . It turned out that was the day the cops decided to stop my car and I was asked for my d/l. Firstly I was in an 'Abaya' I sheepishly tried to act naive n innocent as he kept looking at my half chewed license. He just kept laughing n laughing, lukin at me my license...gosh I was sooooo embarassed...but yeah it worked like a charm n the cop let me go. I reached offc only to realize I had forgotten to keep my work clothes and my make-up !! There was no turning back so I tried to get as presentable as possible, thanks to the 'Abaya' that hid my pyjamas and my Gucci bag (the only saving grace) headed office. Touched up a bit of make-up from my friend. My colleagues were surprised, since it was Ramadan I was like praising the culture and giving them tall tales all the while laughing and praying 'dear allah just save me today' Thankfully by 3pm we got off from work and as I went home I realized the value of that Abaya that saved the day :facepalm:
