Thank you JS ma'am for your sweet response! I hear about the no rain scenario and today there was an article on water shortage in Chennai. Bangalore doesn't seem bad that way! I am glad you could virtually enjoy the rain through my snippet. I do hope you get some, after all monsoons are here no?

I’m at a loss of words now Sabitha. I started to type my response - deleted- retyped- deleted :). See what you did to me now:).

Read your snippet for the third time now, I loved the poem you shared here Sabitha, it’s lovely. Like I mentioned before I feel I’m seeing and hearing you speak all the while, that’s the way I feel. Sometimes wandering thoughts can take us to places we never expected to go but it could be just where we belong. I’m so glad your thoughts led you here now and that your feeling better as well.

Wonder how Bach knows it all isn’t it? Now that I read this quote I feel like picking up Illusions to read yet another time. As always a lovely write up from you Sabitha. Thank you.

    Dear Meenu,

Always such a pleasure to read you! I am only glad I have company :) I am glad despite the mind jumping around like a monkey, it still is absorbing the nature around it. That's what I try to hang on to - this is one snippet that was quite spontaneous and I am happy to get some responses.
I am glad you picked Illusions up again. I am afraid I have memorized most of it  but I still get surprised with some newer insights, all the time. Thank you Meenu, again!

    :hello:Put sugar into your mouth.
Chennai and its suburbs had quite a shower yesterday evening though intermittently yet welcomed by one and all.
    2. My FB to your post after a while. My mind stands mesmerized with contents of your post.
    3. What you wrote there is full of basic elements ether earth sky space water and fire (summer or sun)
    4. Being a spent force, I could relate your post not only through the pose and poems of yore that I read in college but to my frequent visits to countryside.
    5. A reference to toby in your post rarely missed. You look up to sky with wings to fly you see around dripping trees and crumbling foliage as you walk over them in your post give a vicarious feel to the readers delight.
    6. Nothing seems to be insignificant for you in NATURE as you trained your mind to derive a meaning or and a lesson one or two from them.
    7. Though long, yet the post is superb as always.
    8. A Thomas hardy -a wordsworth - a Shelly comes to mind.
    9. Every weft and warp of the fabric of Nature you seem to profoundly understood and nicely narrated what you viewed in agog, in your unique brisk language.
    Regards.

    Dear @Thyagarajan sir,

Thank you for your very warm feedback. First of all, let me say that this here
is the sweetest thing I have heard in a very long time. Truly thank you! I am still smiling.

Very happy to hear that Chennai received some rain! I hope it is bringing much needed relief. How can it not?

I agree this was a long snippet, unedited as well - mind was wandering and I found it interesting that despite that, it was taking notice of the world around me and now as I sit and write a feedback to you, I cannot think what the thoughts were but certainly I can recall all the scenes the mind has taken in during that journey. I rarely go back to read my snippet after I post it but thanks to you, I did this time! How can I not write about Toby you tell me - he is with me wherever I go and for however long! Summer has officially started for us and magically we had a lovely warm day today! Hopefully kids will get to enjoy the fireflies and some dinners outside. Meanwhile, you enjoy the rains.

A poetic expression of a natural surrounding, words given to a keen sense of observation. Nothing beats the serenity of nature.

    :hello:Thank you.
    2. This reminds me of my friend who had a dad in deep depression. He tried whatever he could but his dad became more and more difficult to handle. When he narrated this to me, I suggested try to bring home a Pomeranian.

    3. He did bring a Pomeranian home and initially his dad did not like it. But the pomo went close to his dad and sat on its hind legs and hugged him (dad) and they became soon friends and in few weeks Dad was restored to a lively mood begin to enjoy life once again in the company of others.

    4. Such is the power of ORIONs & TOBYs.

    Dear @Thyagarajan ,

Dogs indeed are man's loyal friends. Growing up had a dog, then married in to a dog loving family and now Toby for our own family :) I do have a picture of Dattatreya with dogs and read quite a bit about him! Thank you again!

    Hi @Srama ,

Your description of all the nature's happenings around us are very soothing . If I wouldnt read your take on it , it would be difficult to look at it and enjoy the beauty the way you does. Everytime i see those pictures of your backyard that you have maintained so wonderfully , i dream of owning a small place with a nice small beautiful yard well tended like yours. Your view of natural phenomenons are capable of transporting a person to a different world. Thank you.
