    I agree in toto. Mindfulness- solid examples from watching/observing kids.
    “Even if inadvertently there is always something to be learned by observing our children. One can't always take a childlike approach to the adult world but where it is possible one should. Makes life a lot more pleasant.”

    I nominate this advisory to whinging-grownups by Novalis: Read Dr. Seuss.

    This paragraph describes a whole lot of us, who have it good, but long for better, different, unusual, exciting... etc. etc.. and offers a way to appreciate the good things we have in our lives.
    A widespread malaise of privileged lifestyle is the accrued world-weariness. Often with age, boredom sets in. If anyone approaches me with world weariness, life is good but not great, I am to remind them of Bartholomew and the Oobleck written by Dr Seuss. A children's book for an adult's mind.​
