There is an old cartoon about that snake-apple parable.
Whenever I see Terms&Conditions onscreen and click agree without reading any of it, I am reminded of all the post-marital anguish we see on the forum.

The apple from the knowledge tree (God had forbade Adam & Eve to eat that apple, and gain jugaad. But A&E took the word of the snake, and ignored the terms&conditions for living in Eden).

The vodka filled pani puri might come with peer pressure, and promises of great revelations too. (after thinking up this post, saw Anusha's Vodka in shotglass picture in the link... Thank goodness that the vodka is not part of the pani )

But that puri is such a dribble cup to take a shot from.
wife: I see red stains in your collar and lapels... who was that bimbo ?
husband: Nobody... I'd been to a party where they served vodka-puri. It dribbled down.

I went and reviewed the pani-puri making video. So labor intensive to make at home. Only NRI moms who are extremely affectionate to pass on the native culture to the locally made kids, can do that once in a while.

No it's easy. You get frozen puris. You just have to bring and deep fry them. Then comes process of making pani and stuffing .

Once you put this small effort you can keep gulping one after the other.

You try it with or without vodka . And give your kids without vodka off course.

BTW unless you have enjoyed this at the streets in India you cannot enjoy the one you make at home.

I have not eaten pani-puri in the streets. So I have the perfectly unspoilt palate for home-made ones.
One girl on the internet video says that NRI in America can get quick golgappa in a plastic pack from the grocery store, and make puri's in airfryer. I might try that one of these days when I remember to buy some from the store.

Prior to the kid part its all rosy and lovey-dovey darlin, atleast thats how spouses are. After kids the rose tinted glasses fall off and reality seeps in. Responsibility, sleepless nights - when the H and families expect the wife n DIL to possess super woman qualities thats when the poor woman gets to see the true colors of her spouse n family.
